DGT2010, the official clock of the International Chess Federation (FIDE).

The DGT 2010 was presented in 2007 and received the status of "Official Clock of FIDE" in June 2008 after several tests carried out by high level referees, which certified that this clock complies with all FIDE regulations.

The DGT2010 is suitable for many games and even has preset configurations for the game of Go or Baduk.

Some features were updated in November 2010 to fit the most popular and user-preferred game rhythms.

The main differences between the new DGT2010SG model (SG: Second Generation) and its previous version are the following:

  • Now the front buttons are dark blue instead of red.
  • For each manual option, the last configuration is automatically saved, even if the timer is turned off or other options are used.
  • Options for Scrabble™ have been added.
  • Bronstein delay with multiple time controls
  • In Canadian Byo-yomi, extra time can be added after a required number of moves.
  • Some time controls have been adjusted to fit the most popular uses.

For more information, see the DGT 2010 manual.
