The Timeless chess pieces are the simplest Staunton model there is. They are very similar to our German model, only these pieces have automated piece recognition technology compatible with all DGT electronic boards.

Great Acceptance
DGT Timeless pieces are the preferred ones for many high-level players, for their simplicity and basic design. This set is often used with the Walnut or Smart Board e-Board.
Choose the weight of your pieces
You can choose the Timeless pieces by making them counterweighted to improve the feel of the pieces on the board. Plumbed pieces add an extra weight that will make it harder for them to fall when manipulating them. Heavier pieces are better, although they also have a slightly higher price.
