Walnut wood, a great success
Walnut wood gives the board a tone that ranges from light brown to dark chocolate color, and the whiteness can have seemingly grayish tones. It is one of the preferred dark woods by many professionals and carpenters.
The characteristics of walnut wood are many and very well considered: medium hardness, great elasticity, it is heavy and its straight fiber. This makes it very sought after in quality carpentry, so you will see that the price of these chess boards is slightly higher than other woods.
