When we play an endgame, our thoughts are directed to reduce it to a known position. If we have a good foundation and a solid knowledge of these positions, our chances of success will be much higher.

The success of the first edition, which sold out quickly, has encouraged us to improve the book and launch this second edition that you have in your hands.

In it, errors have been corrected, new examples have been added, and more detailed explanations of some positions, as well as an increased number of exercises that should help the reader to check their knowledge of the endings and allow them to know which ones need a new review.
